Winner of the 2026 Québec to Memphis Contest - Band Category

The Montreal Blues Society is proud to announce that Justin Saladino is the winner of the 2026 Québec to Memphis Contest, Band Category. After an electrifying night of performances at Bistro à Jojo on October 6, the judges selected Justin for his exceptional musicianship, stage presence, and seasoned delivery.

This year’s lineup brought an impressive range of talent to the stage. Each band delivered a memorable set, showcasing the strength and diversity of Québec’s blues community. The crowd responded with enthusiasm throughout the night, making this edition one of the most dynamic in recent years.

With this win, Justin Saladino will represent Québec at the 42nd International Blues Challenge (IBC 2027) in Memphis, Tennessee, from January 19–23, 2027. This marks his second time heading to Memphis, and we look forward to seeing him bring Québec’s blues spirit back to Beale Street.
