Another pillar of the Quebec Blues community is gone. Richard Leblanc, best known as harmonica player Rick L. Blues, died last Thursday at the age of 51.
Rick always surrounded himself with music. From a young age he sang with his older sister, he imitated numerous artists to entertain his friends. He played a multitude of instruments; piano, drums, guitar, sax and etc., but it was true love when he discovered the harmonica.
That’s how he’ll be best remembered, blowing out some great blues sounds from his harp…
This one is for you Rick; now you can play where the sky is always blue.
