Ghost Town Blues Band in Drummondville

A most SPECTACULAR show!

Oh, where to even begin with the electrifying spectacle of an indoor festival that unfolded at Drummondville's La Maison des arts Desjardins! From the moment the first note reverberated through the lobby, courtesy of Riot playing solo, the air was charged with an undeniable energy. As the evening unfolded, the stage became a veritable melting pot of musical talent, each musician adding their own unique flavor to the mix. When Ghost Town Blues Band took the stage, Matt Isbell transported us straight to the heart of Memphis, infusing the room with soulful melodies and infectious rhythms. What a treat it was to witness the seamless collaboration between all these musicians, each lending their own brilliance to the performance. With Mark LeClerc's beautiful saxophone tone and Suavo Jones grooving his trombone, Justin Saladino and Joel Dupuis showcased their guitar prowess along with Matt, while Dawn Tyler Watson's powerhouse vocals added another layer of magic. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Adam Karch performed a solo set in the smaller venue within the same complex, the Studio Centre de services scolaire des Chênes. It was the perfect nightcap, leaving us utterly spellbound. From start to finish, it was a night to remember—a testament to the universal power of music and the vibrant spirit of Drummondville's blues community, thanks to the visionary and unifying efforts of Marie-Pierre Simoneau. A truly Quebec and Memphis collaboration!

Attending live shows isn't just about entertainment; it's about actively participating in the preservation of art and culture, supporting artists, and nurturing our communities. Without spectators, the art will struggle to survive. So, let's come together, show our support, and keep our venues full of life and creativity!

Thank you to Brian Slack and Marie-Pierre Simoneau for keeping the blues alive in Quebec!
